SERVICE AREA
Our headquarters are in Canyon Lake. This is where we live, where we build, and where we know the terrain best.
Wulfhe Outdoor Living is headquartered in Canyon Lake, Texas. Our sister company, Waterfront Unlimited, has built docks, boathouses, and waterfront structures on the Guadalupe River lake system since 2007. We know the terrain, the rock, the soil, and the building conditions in this area better than anyone.
Canyon Lake and Spring Branch properties are defined by Hill Country geography — steep limestone hillsides, shallow soil over bedrock, dramatic elevation changes, and seasonal flash flood drainage patterns. These conditions make traditional ground-level patios problematic and wood decks a short-term investment that deteriorates under relentless Central Texas sun and occasional wildfire risk.
Our dock-grade elevated concrete decks are purpose-built for this terrain. Steel pipe pilings anchor into rock at whatever depth is required. The elevated concrete slab creates usable outdoor living space on slopes and hillsides that would otherwise go unused. It’s permanent, fireproof, and requires zero maintenance for 30–50 years.
Many Canyon Lake and Spring Branch properties sit on steep grades. Steel-pipe-piling construction creates level outdoor platforms over any slope — the same way we build waterfront structures over uneven terrain.
Hill Country limestone bedrock often sits just below the surface. Our steel pilings are designed to anchor into rock, not just soil. This is a standard condition on waterfront projects and we handle it routinely.
The Canyon Lake and Spring Branch areas have significant wildfire exposure during dry summers. Steel-and-concrete construction is completely non-combustible — your deck cannot catch fire from embers or radiant heat.
Canyon Lake allows only limestone quarry block retaining walls. We build gravity-stacked limestone walls using large Hill Country quarry blocks for terracing, driveway retention, and erosion control.

Steel-pipe-piling foundations with reinforced concrete slabs. Elevated from a few feet to 12+ feet over hillside terrain. Fireproof, maintenance-free, and built for Canyon Lake’s steep lots and rocky soil.
How We Build →
Gravity-stacked Hill Country limestone quarry blocks. The only retaining wall type permitted at Canyon Lake. Ideal for hillside terracing, driveway stabilization, and managing drainage on sloped properties.
