OUR STORY
17+ years of marine construction taught us how to build things that last. Now we bring that construction expertise to your backyard.
Since 2007, our sister company Waterfront Unlimited has been one of the premier marine construction firms on the Guadalupe River lake system — building docks, boathouses, bulkheads, and elevated waterfront structures across the Guadalupe River lake system — Lake McQueeney, Lake Dunlap, Lake Seguin, Meadow Lake, and Lake Placid.
Every one of those structures is built the same way: steel pipe pilings driven into the lake bed, structural steel beams welded to the pilings, and reinforced concrete poured on top. They survive river floods, years of wave action, freeze-thaw cycles, and relentless UV exposure. They last decades.
The realization was simple: this same construction method works even better on dry land. Inland properties don’t have wave action, fluctuating water levels, or marine corrosion. A dock-grade structure built on solid ground will outlast virtually anything else in residential construction.
Wulfhe Outdoor Living was created to bring that marine construction discipline to non-waterfront property owners across the Texas Hill Country. Same steel. Same concrete. Same crew. Same standards. Different address.
Wulfhe Outdoor Living operates under Wulfhe LLC alongside our established marine construction division.
Premier marine construction on the Guadalupe River lake system since 2007. Docks, boathouses, bulkheads, jet ski lifts, and elevated waterfront structures. One of approximately four marine contractors in the region with barge capability. 14–16 projects annually.
Dock-grade elevated concrete decks and Hill Country limestone retaining walls for inland properties. The same steel-pipe-piling construction proven on water, applied to luxury homes, ranch estates, and hillside properties across Comal, Hays, Kendall, and Guadalupe Counties.
When your structures have to survive river floods, you learn to overbuild everything. Every piling depth, every beam connection, every concrete mix is specified for worst-case scenarios — not best-case assumptions.
Wood rots. Composite warps. But steel and concrete either hold or they don’t. There’s no masking poor workmanship. Marine construction demands precision because the consequences of failure are immediate and visible.
Marine construction on GBRA-regulated waterways requires rigorous permitting. We manage all GBRA and county permitting in-house. County building permits for a residential patio are straightforward by comparison — and we handle them entirely in-house.
No two waterfront properties are the same — different water depths, different soil conditions, different exposure. That experience translates directly to Hill Country terrain, where slope, rock, drainage patterns, and soil composition vary dramatically from lot to lot.
We don’t take shortcuts. We don’t chase volume. We build a limited number of projects each year because every structure carries our name and our reputation.
We serve Comal, Hays, Kendall, and Guadalupe Counties, with our headquarters in Canyon Lake and our construction yard in New Braunfels.
